Artistic renditions of the Jewish experience: "The Rebbe and the Talmid" picture postcard with caption in Hebrew & Hebrew-spelled Yiddish, of painting by M. Trinbetsch; published by Verlag Jehudia (Yehudia Publisher), Warsaw as issue #111 of the series. On reverse, postal stationary formatted for the Russian Universal Postal Union (in Russian & French - eg. pre-WWI impression). Used: franked & postmarked 11 VI 1920 (behind the lines, at the height of the 1920 Polish-Soviet War), from KRAKOW to Germany; tied by bold black Polish instructional marking. Tear at left (c. 2½cm), spill mark on back at bottom right.
