18th Century color copperplate engraving of Levites in the Tabernacle by Klauber brothers
German Biblical color copperplate engraving of the Levites in the Tabernacle & Sanctuary of the Holy of Holies - based on Numbers 18:3; by Joseph Sebastian Klauber and Johann Baptist Klauber, mid-18th Century Augsburg Germany; with Latin title and numbered elements their explanation in Latin below the image. There are a few light spill-marks, three slash-marks on reverse (not cutting through the paper) and one light repair on the back made to a tear. The two brothers, engravers, founded a Catholic fine art publishing company by 1737.
