AN EMBROIDERED OTTOMAN EMPIRE POUCH, 19TH CEN.
Ottoman pouch made of dark red-orange velvet with a string handle. The bag is embroidered with gilt-silver thread forming complex floral motifs and lined with brown fringe, the lid flap having a ring of turquoise around an embroidered flower.
L: 10 6/8 in., (27 cm.)
Condition: Very good. The embroidery is well-preserved.
