AN EXTREMELY RARE BRIQUET, MODEL 1767
An extremely rare Briquet, model 1767 of a drummer, foot grenadier regiment with all the original markings. "GRENADIER", the grenade and the double L, crest of the King of France Louis XVI. It is a drummer saber due to the shorter blade, and the handle has instead of 20 torons, none (octagonal handle), and no scabbard.
Dimensions: L: 24 1/2 in., (62 cm.)
Condition: Very good. Blade has chips on the edge.
