A VERY RARE NAPOLEONIC WAR SABER "BRIQUET" MODEL 1767
A very rare Napoleonic war saber "Briquet", model 1767, dating the invasion of Spain by Napoleon the 1st in 1808 with the engraving "NO ME SAQUES SIN RASON" on one side and "NO ME EMBAINES SIN HONOR"- translated to "Don't draw me without reason, do not sheat me without honor".
Dimensions: L: 31 3/4 in., (80.6 cm.)
Condition: Very good. Some rust on the blade.
