AN EXCELLENT 19TH C. PAIR OF AUSTRIAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS
This pair of fine antique pistols features fluted steel barrels tapering to a band and the balance round with brass front sights. Silver-tone and gold-tone lockplates are finely hand-chiseled and engraved with detailed hunting scenes. Etched with the owner's name: "F.P. Her." Gilt chased brass buttcaps depicting an armored warrior in the Neoclassical style.
