A ISLAMIC MOROCCAN NIMCHA SWORD, 19TH CEN.
A single-edged slightly curved blade with a groove on each side carved horn grip of characteristic form, turned-down quillon. Wooden scabbard covered in dark-brown leather with a brass chape. North Africa, late 19th - early 20th cc.
Dimensions: L: 40 3/4 in., (103.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with a crack on the grip.
