A GERMAN HUNTING DAGGER WITH A SKINNING KNIFE 19TH C.
Fine German 19th-century hunting dagger (Hirschfanger) with a skinning knife. The blade is engraved on both sides with floral motifs. The hilt of the dagger and knife handle is carved of a staghorn. Ray skin-covered scabbard with brass fittings decorated with hunting scenes and engraved initials "ER" under the crown. Mid 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 22 1/4 in., (56.5 cm.)
Condition: Excellent.
