Dimensions : 98 x 72 cm
Provenance: Private collection of Joseph Katzenberg (b. 1901, Lithuania), owner of an art gallery established together with his wife Sonia in the early 1930s in the Jewish quarter, near the central synagogue. The gallery exhibited works of art, including pieces from the avant-garde period, as well as mirrors, glass works, and decorative objects.
Archival documentation confirms that this artwork was received from Mykolas Žilinskas on April 22, 1954.
By descent within the family. In 1967, the Katzenberg family immigrated to Israel, bringing with them the full contents of the gallery, including artworks, Judaica, furniture, and decorative objects.
Inherited by the grandson, Abraham Katzenberg (Petah Tikva, Israel). The inheritance includes the gallery archive, documentation, books, and artworks.
