An Extremely Rare Silver , Parcel Gilt , Snuffbox , with a Fitted Timepiece, Czechia, ca 1804
Cartouche shaped and double lidded case. The fitted timepiece with a white glass clock face and set in a gilt interior finely engraved with scrolls and rocaille. Another lid reveals a compartment for snuff. Marked (on lid rim). The clock needs to be restored.
Total weight: 134 gr; dimensions: 7.7 x 5.8 x 2.5 cm
Notes: A similar piece can be found in the Bavarian National Museum.
