The banknote was issued in 5739 (1979) and entered circulation in 1980. It features Ze'ev Jabotinsky, one of the leading figures of the Revisionist Zionist movement, and is considered one of the most recognizable banknotes of the Old Sheqel series. The banknote was withdrawn from circulation on September 4, 1986, following the introduction of the New Israeli Sheqel. Obverse: Portrait of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, alongside Shuni Fortress near Binyamina, with the inscriptions ”One Hundred Sheqalim” and ”Bank of Israel” in Hebrew. Reverse: Herod's Gate (Flowers Gate) in the Old City of Jerusalem, featuring the word ”Jerusalem” in microprinting, together with the inscription ”Bank of Israel” in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. Condition: VF–XF. The banknotes have been in circulation and may show signs of age, including folds, stains, writing, graffiti, or other circulation marks.
