Africana 19th Century Yellowwood Chest.

A charming 19th-century chest crafted from Cape Yellowwood, a wood known for its durability and rich, warm hues. This chest, measuring 70cm x 58cm and standing 53cm high, bears the marks of its age, adding to its character and authenticity.

Despite being a used item, the chest has the potential to regain its former glory with a bit of attention. The wood exhibits a lovely patina, showcasing the natural aging process and giving the chest a unique charm. Its dimensions make it a versatile piece, suitable for various spaces and purposes.
It has a slight wobble, this is a minor issue that can be easily resolved. Additionally, the beading on the back, though damaged, should not be overly noticeable.

With gentle cleaning and polishing this chest can regain much of its original beauty.
