An elegant and intricately designed piece from the Victorian era. Made of sterling silver, hallmarked London 1895, makers mark WC (William Chawner), rectangular with deep relief repousse decoration of mystical faces, serpents and a fish amidst foliate scrolls.  Created with a fluted rim and a blank surface for initialing. 

Its regal appearance makes it a perfect accessory for displaying fine perfume bottles and vanity items on a dressing table, adding a touch of sophistication to any setting. This timeless and cherished piece embodies the grandeur and craftsmanship of the Victorian period, making it a captivating decorative item and a symbol of historical elegance.
