Sterling Silver Kiddush Goblet STC.
Weight of 83.4 grams
The Sterling Silver Kiddush Goblet, crafted by A. Taitelbaum & Sons (Aaron Taitelbaum) in 1928, is a fine example of Judaica from London. Standing at a height of 15 cm, this elegant goblet features classic design elements typical of the early 20th century. The hallmarks on the piece indicate its authenticity and origin, displaying the standard British sterling silver marks along with the maker's mark of A. Taitelbaum & Sons. This goblet would have been used for the Kiddush, a blessing recited over wine or grape juice to sanctify the Shabbat and Jewish holidays. The craftsmanship and historical significance make it a valuable item for collectors and those interested in Jewish ceremonial art.
