Rare Giorgia Fraia Still Life Oil Painting on Board Framed Depicting Fruit, a Pitcher and Vine
Giorgia Fraia 20th C Italian, Artist Still Life Framed Oil on Canvas Painting ~ Excellent Condition. Still life depicting fruit, a decorative pitcher and a vine with leaves. The image is 39cm x 48cm. In its frame, it measures 48cm x 57cm. It is signed by the Italian artist, “G. Fraia” in the lower left corner. Circa early 20th century, this painting is in good condition with bright colours but is slightly loose in the frame with minor marks depicting its age. It should be tacked in its existing frame. We leave that decision to the buyer. The Artist: Giorgia Fraia was born in 1902. He studied in the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples where he graduated with the highest marks. Awarded the Prize of Paris in 1925. In 1927 he earned the Monteforte Prize and participated with success at the International Show of Industrial Artistic Art in Paris. He participated in various exhibits in Italy and abroad.
