Johnny Ceccotto and the suit that deserves a place of honor.

Ceccotto became famous at the 1975 Daytona 200, starting last on a Yamaha TZ750 and finishing third ahead of Giacomo Agostini, making 74 overtakes. With the “Venemotos Yamaha” team he won the “350” title in 1975 and the “750” in 1978, becoming the youngest in the history of motorcycling to win the world title in both classes.

From motorbikes he moved to cars in 1981, racing with Minardi in Formula 2. The following season he was vice European champion with March and made his debut in 1983 in Formula 1 with Theodore.

In 1984 he raced with Toleman together with Ayrton Senna (not exactly a coincidence).

He was the victim of a serious accident during practice for the British Grand Prix: he broke his legs and ended his career in Formula 1.

Cecotto continued in touring cars, winning the Italian championship in 1989 and the German championship in 1994 and 1998 in a BMW.
