Invitation to the wedding of Rebbetzin Raizel, daughter of Harav Baruch Bendit Lichtenstein and granddaughter of Hagaon Harav Hillel Lash of Kolimiya, to the chosson Harav Yitzchak Rosenberg, son of Hagaon Harav Yosef Yuspa Rosenberg, author of Yad Yosef and Ravid Hazahav.

The wedding took place in 1879 in the city of Kolomyia during the lifetime of the kallah’s venerable grandfather Harav Hillel Lash of Kolomyia.

Rebbetzin Raizel Rosenberg nee Lichtenstein, granddaughter of Harav Hillel Lash of Kolomyia, was renowned as a righteous woman who devoted her life to her husband’s Torah study. She sacrificed material wealth and comfort and sold her jewelry to enable her husband to purchase sefarim to learn Torah. Her husband Harav Yitzchak Rosenberg was eventually appointed Av Beis Din of Hadhaz, Hungary.
