Facsimile of Handwritten Invitation by the Rayatz Sent to Chassidim; Warsaw, 1929
Invitation to the wedding of the Rebbe Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, daughter of the Rayatz.
The historic wedding took place on the 14th of Kislev, 1929, in the capital city of Warsaw. The event was celebrated by many Chassidim, Admorim and rabbis from Warsaw and Poland.
Even then, this celebration was marked as a historic event. While they could not know the effect this wedding would have on Jewish history, in hindsight, this wedding marks a historic moment leading up to the future Admorus of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn of Chabad.
This facsimile was produced by the Rayatz and sent to his Chassidim.
