Antique The Rosenjet Garden Sprayer – Brass, Wooden Handle – England, 1924 - A hand-operated piston garden sprayer, model The Rosenjet, manufactured by R. Harris (Brassfounders) Ltd of Birmingham, England. Cylindrical brass body fitted with a wooden plunger handle. The body bears the model name and patent number 217229. Introduced in 1924, the model allowed the user to switch between a broad spray and a concentrated jet by rotating the barrel. It was intended for gardening applications, including spraying plants and applying pesticides. Length closed: 38 cm. Length extended: 55 cm. Age-related wear, patina, scratches, staining and noticeable wear to the wooden handle. The mechanism has not been tested. Please examine the photographs for condition.
