Pair of Silver Anklets with Jingling Bells, India, 20th Century - A pair of traditional anklets, probably India, made of silver tested by us using acid. Unmarked; silver fineness is unknown. Each features a flexible network of interlinked chains decorated with small leaf-like motifs, with clusters of bells suspended along the edge that jingle during movement. Cylindrical end fittings with removable pin closures. Probably mid to late 20th century, without guarantee of origin or date. Each approximately 27 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. Total weight: 197.5 grams. Signs of wear, tarnishing and minor deformation to some links and bells. Please examine the photographs for condition.
