Holocaust - Belgium, ID card with JUIF-JOOD stamp of a Jewish woman who was murdered in Auschwitz
Belgian ID card from 1939 with a JUIF-JOOD rubber stamp indicating the holder of the card is Jewish.
Croine Melamed was born in 1915 in the city of Mariupol (now Ukraine). She moved to Belgium (Antwerp) in 1928. In 1939 she got married and then moved to the city of Vorst in Belgium. According to the Yad Vashem database, she was deported to Auschwitz in September 1943.
The lot includes two photographs found inside the certificate.
12x7.5 cm. Very good condition.
