Sh'erit ha-Pletah DP camp BARLETTA 1947 - Photo of a Holocaust survivor with the name of the camp.
Photo in postcard size. Apparently it was taken by a photographer who worked in the displaced persons camp.
At the bottom of the photograph printed on the negative:
1947 BARLETTA N.3 DP CAMP BL.12 3/18
On the back of the photograph is a dedication in Yiddish. The name of the sender is Tova Mandelbaum. The postcard was sent to Rachel (Hollander) on May 7, 1948, apparently to Eratz Israel.
14x9 cm. very good condition.
