This is the original Polish edition. Condition: good, the dust jacket is reinforced with tape on the inside. Otherwise in fine condition. The photos do not do justice to the deep black colour which is shown in the photos. Profound and gripping photographic report on the well-being of the Jewish people in the ghettos of Warsaw. The matte and grainy black/white photos ( the most horrific ones are not even shown) show a bizarre reality.
