WWII TRENCH ART INK WELL AND PEN HOLDER
Trench art from WWII of an ink well or pen holder featuring a German cross at the center, surrounded by an upside down horseshoe with welded antlers. At the center, an ink well is made from a spent 1943 20mm MK2 bullet casing, engraved with roses. Holder is held up by a metal horse leg piece which has been welded to the verso. Approx. 4 x 4.25 inches. Slight rusting on piece.
