39 WWII NAZI LUFTWAFFE RECONNAISSANCE DIVISION CANDID PHOTOS
Lot of 39 photos taken by Wilhelm Hunerbein, born 17.6.1919, a member of the Luftwaffe Nahaufklaerungsgruppe 1, a short-range reconnaissance branch of the Luftwaffe formed around 1942 to spy on Russia during the war. Photographs show prisoners filling in a crater made by a 'Stukka', a bridge destroyed by French troops, destroyed areas, Russian soldiers, a German soldier graveyard, aerial photos, and Luftwaffe planes. Approx. 3.25 x 4.5 inches. Some photos have handwritten caption on verso.
