COLIN ROSS NAZI SPY
(1885-1945) Vienna-born German of Scottish descent, was one of the most popular travel writers in Germany and Austria. Considered by some to be a Nazi-German spy and one of 'Hitler's foremost geopolitician.' His signature in blue ink dated '7.6.1940' pasted onto the front fly leaf of his book 'Travel and Adventure Book' (Das Fahrten- und Abenteuer Buch), 1930, Buchergilde Gutenberg, Berlin, 236 pages, 6.75 x 9.5 inches, cloth-bound hardcover. An added newspaper clipping states that Dr. Colin Ross shot himself in his villa in Kochel when the American entered Germany. He was an follower of the Nazi ideology. Some staining to covers and sunning, else fine.
