DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM SOLDBUCH
Late war Soldbook for a member of the German Volkssturm issued to ANTON NEUER Volksturmmann, with his identification picture, erkennungsmarke id number. Neuer was born in 1910 near Biberach, a carpenter by profession. The Soldbuch was issued on 31. March 1945 by Gau 42 (Wurttemberg-Hohenzollern) 2. Batallion. He apparently was wounded and admitted to a hospital on 1 June 1945. His military pay was entered until November 1945. Small stain on the cover, tape applied to last page. Very good.
