Typed letter on the letterhead of the Italian Embassy in London, August 31st, 1938, in part: 'My dear Ronald, returning from a brief holiday in Italy I have been told of all the trouble you have so kindly taken over the question of the Italian School in London...please accept my cordial thanks...very sincerely your Grandi.' 7 x 9 inch, minor creases, mailing folds, else fine.
