A rare publication written in a sharply antisemitic tone, presenting an idealized and utopian vision of the German working class under the leadership of the Führer after it had supposedly been ”liberated” from Jewish control prior to Hitler's rise to power. The pamphlet opens by describing the difficult years experienced by the German working class before the Nazis came to power - years in which, according to the author, workers were exploited and dominated by labor unions allegedly controlled by Jews. The author claims that the Jews, through these unions and their constant criticism of German nationalism, prevented the emergence of a unified national movement among German workers. He further asserts that the Jewish press opposed the Nazi movement in its early years by falsely claiming that its aim was to humiliate workers and reduce them to slavery. The author then describes how the ”salvation” of the German worker supposedly arrived with the Nazi Party's accession to power: unemployment declined, the economy revived, and workers were given the ”leadership and direction” they had previously lacked. He argues that the new Nazi-led organization protected workers' rights, created a prosperous business community, and brought about a dramatic improvement in the condition of the German worker. During Hitler's seven years in power, the pamphlet claims, workers progressed from skepticism and insecurity to steadfast faith and confidence in the Führer: ”Now the yoke has been broken, and a new and equitable social order has been established, ” while emphasizing that German workers had regained their national pride through Hitler's uncompromising leadership: ”Hitler accomplished this miracle; we have received the leadership and direction that had been lacking for years.” In language characteristic of Nazi propaganda, the author further claims that as ”Jewish Marxism” declined and its influence was humiliated, the national pride of German workers correspondingly increased. He concludes by stating that ”the German worker stands behind Adolf Hitler because the Führer has awakened in him a new hope.” The booklet includes photographs depicting Hitler visiting German workplaces during the 1930s, as well as images of organized workers' excursions throughout Germany, intended to illustrate the worker's supposed ”new freedom” under the Nazi regime.
