An invitation to a wedding in the Zilsheim DP camp in the exile of Germany, December 1946
Einladung ['invitation'] to the wedding of Zalman Gitler and Nutta Izarelewitz, Kislev 57/12/1946 'Exile of Germany'. Rare.
In the center of the invitation is a joint photograph of the intended couple and the details of the event in Hebrew and Yiddish. The location of the event 'Zeilsheim Street Hall' - apparently referring to the Zeilsheim The DP camp in the city of Frankfurt.
The back of the invitation below the line bearing the date reads: 'Exile, Germany'.
