At the top: flags of the nations of the world, the emblem of the United Nations, and the verse from Isaiah 2: "And all the nations shall stream unto it… Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." At the bottom right: a map of "Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, the city I have chosen." At the bottom left, on the image of an unfurling scroll: Ezekiel’s prophecy of the return of the people of Israel to their land and its fulfillment: "After 1,877 years of exile, without national standing among the nations, the people of Israel has come back to life: the United Nations, in its assembly at Lake Success, on the Sabbath day, 16 Kislev, 5708, recognized the people of Israel as a free people with the right to establish its own government in its land, the Land of Israel which the Lord, their G-d, gave them as an everlasting inheritance."
