An advertisement poster for the film "LIMELIGHT", which was released in November 1951. This poster was published in Germany when the film appeared in its territory in 1952. 


The plot revolves around the death of Calverto, a vaudeville entertainer who finds comfort in a bitter drop after his star has faded over the years. The film was written, directed and produced by Charlie Chaplin, Who worked on the film for about 3 years. and also played the lead role; Chaplin even composed the original music of the film and served as one of his choreographers and musical arrangers.. The film featured many of Chaplin's family members, such as his five older children and his brother Sidney.
