PALASTINA KALENDER 1937 A rare calendar published in Berlin under Nazi rule. On the pages of the board are various photographs depicting the Jewish settlement in Eretz Israel. Edited by JOACHIM PRINZ, Berlin 1937. German.
On the cardboard is a photo-montage project that combines ultra-Orthodox Jews in traditional garb, pioneers from the settlement's builders and the Israel flag flying over the "Made in Israel" building.
Among the photographs are: Pioneers at work, children of immigrants in the economy, sights from Jerusalem, the beginning of Israeli shipping, sights from Tel Aviv, ein hkore, swamp drying, early Jewish agriculture, Maccabi, the university building in Jerusalem, And more.
Includes introduction page by original editor and original dust jacket.
A rare publication does not appear in the National Library.
