The book is divided into two parts - in the first part photographs of streets, synagogues and buildings in Jewish cities, and in the second part photographs of Jewish figures - rebbes, rabbis, Jewish children and teenagers on the street of the town, and in various educational institutions. Among other things, there are photographs of the Rebbe of Spinka, Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, Rabbi Aharon Kotler, photographs from important funerals, yeshivas, Jewish workers at work, and more. Each photograph is described in Yiddish and English. Two maps of the Jewish cities in Eastern Europe were featured at the outset of the book.
