A Nazi propaganda pamphlet designed to hide Germany's intentions at the outbreak of the World War and to present Hitler in a positive light
Unser aller Hitler Wie Man Euch Den Fuhrer Ziegte Und Wie Er Wirklich ist - "Our Hitler, the way he is presented, and how he really is." A Nazi propaganda pamphlet which was designed to present Hitler in a positive light, and to obscure the occupation and war intentions of Nazi Germany. Published by NIBELUNGEN Berlin, 1940. German.
On all the pages of the booklet there are many photographs of Hitler and on the page corresponding to each of them caricatures mocking him which were presented in the press and in various publications against Nazi Germany. Every "real" photograph of Hitler is intended to present him in a positive light against the impression that emerges from the cartoons published against him. For example, a cartoon appears in which Hitler is seen crushing the heads of the religious priests, and next to it is a "real" photograph of Hitler giving thanks for the victory in the annexation of Austria to the sounds of the Dutch thanksgiving. On another page it is written: "The world believes that Hitler wants war because he created the strongest Wehrmacht in the world", next to a photograph showing Wehrmacht soldiers and the caption: "If Hitler wanted a war of conquest he would have had to hide this strong Wehrmacht... Hitler wants the liberation of Germany without bloodshed...". On several other pages in the booklet, there are photographs of Hitler at various events in which he is seen showing affection for the German population and captions claiming that he does not desire war. On another page, a cartoon showing Hitler shedding blood, next to a photograph in which he is seen reaching out his hands affectionately to the German fan base in order to create a false representation as if "this is the real Hitler". There are photographs of Hitler next to teenagers and workers and captions: "The youth love him more than anything", etc. Against the claims of the Nazis' persecution of scientists, there is a photograph showing Hitler at a cultural conference with the caption: "Adolf Hitler respects and promotes artists and scientists more than any statesman in the world. This photo shows him at a cultural conference... with the world's most famous researchers...", and more.
