'Moshe the Circumcised' - a harsh antisemitic publication. Munich, 1939
Der zurückbeschnittene Moses - The Circumcised Moses' - A hard antisemitic essay published shortly before the outbreak of World War II while the German Reich was at its peak, by German writer Dr. Wilhelm Matthiessen. Ludendorffs Verlag, Munich 1939. On the cover is a large antisemitic painting of a Jew in the form of the devil hiding behind a mask.
An antisemitic publication from the Reich period in which the antisemitic Dr. Wilhelm Matthiessen claims that the Bible represents "a declaration of war against freedom and life of the people, especially against the Reich". The author claims that the Jew can never change his evil nature, "Nimol" is still a Jew, he writes against the Jewish nature that is attracted to dirt and filth, which are a real danger to the Aryan race, about the Jews' attempts to take over German society from within, as well as he often attacks the Jewish tradition, and the Bible, and writes that their piety of the Jews in their religion came to hide their malicious intentions to take over the peoples around them, and other harsh antisemitic allegations disguised as ‘scientific’. Matthiessen published another antisemitic essay a year earlier entitled "Israel's Secret Plan for the Destruction of Nations" (1938). After the war he authored several other books in a disguised antisemitic tone, mostly children's books.
