A TRANSLUCENT GLASS ASKOS (ANIMAL'S SKIN SHAPED VESSEL)
Early Roman Period, 1st century CE. With a dolphin's shape body, funnel-type mouth and S-curved tail. The base is oval with an indentation. A very rare vessel and in perfect condition. Relatively large, 24 cm long, 10.3 cm high. Ex Prof. Ehud Malberger collection, Haifa.
