AN ACHAEMENID AGATE CYLINDER SEAL. - 6th-4th century BCE. 29.8 mm., 13.1 mm in diam,   long-wise perforated. Depicting the Persian king hunting a lion. His horse stands behind him and at top, an Aramaic inscription reads: גתום ” gtwm ” (Seal of) Gtwm )”. In very good condition and rare. Ex Shlomo Moussaieff coll., Herzliyah Pituah (Non-exportable).
