Victorian Silk Parasol with Bone Handle
Victorian Silk Parasol with Carved Bone Handle and finial. The handle folds. The bottom half appears to be bone, note the striations, and it passed the hot pin test, so not plastic. The upper part of the handle is wood. And the finial is carved bone as well. The silk in the parasol is deteriorating, and their is fringe loss. But the mechanism for the parasol to stay open works, and the brass cuff to keep it from folding is also intact. When open, it measures 24.5 inches long and 20 inches diameter. The finial is 2 inches, and the bone handle carved with grapes and leaf designs is 10 inches. In house Flat Rate Shipping is an estimate.
