Austrian State Railways personal season ticket with photograph of Meir (Majer) Wolfmann, a Galician Jew, 1910: ”k.k. österreichische Staatsbahnen, Abonnementkarte III. Klasse” No. 1998, price K 100, valid 1 January to 31 December 1910, for travel at half the tariff fare in the directorate districts written in by hand: ”Krakau, Lemberg, Stanislau, k.k. Nordbahn u. Staatseisenbahngesellschaft” (Kraków, Lviv, Stanisławów), ”für Herrn Majer Wolfmann”, signed by the holder ”M. Wolfman”, violet stamp of the k.k. Staatsbahn-Direktion Lemberg and the official's signature. On the left a portrait photograph of the holder, an elderly bearded Jewish man in a cap, embossed with the seal of the Lemberg railway directorate and a violet stamp, by the photographer B. Etteles, Fotograf we Lwowie, ulica Grodecka 25 (Bernard Etteles, Lwów). In its red cloth folder with the Austrian double-headed eagle and ”1910.” and snap fasteners, with the printed regulations ”Bestimmungen” (”Kein Freigepäck”). Such a season ticket entitled its holder to buy every ticket at half the tariff fare, and was valid only with the holder's photograph and inside the folder issued by the railway.
