Four postal items, the earliest of them from 1926. An airmail cover sent from Warsaw, Poland, to Ing. Gilon, Tel Aviv, P.O.B. 988, Israel, franked with a Polish airmail stamp and cancelled at Warsaw, struck with a violet boxed Hebrew handstamp reading that this letter was delayed in one of the Arab countries as a result of incorrect routing, beside a boxed handstamp in French and a circular handstamp in Arabic. A Polish postal stationery card of the Oswiecim 1940 1945 series, the imprinted stamp showing a kneeling prisoner in striped clothing behind barbed wire with the inscription Oswiecim, alongside a photographic view of the camp guardhouse. The card was sent from Lodz on 3.3.1948, franked with a pair of 30 zloty airmail stamps and an airmail label, addressed to Ing. S. Lubinski, Tel Aviv, P.O.B. 2001, and carrying a manuscript message in Polish. A printed label of the Central Sionist Palestine Office in Warsaw, inscribed in Polish, Hebrew and English, with blank fields for a number and a name. A photographic postcard of the Dresden Opera House, an original etching in hand pull from the art publishing house of W. Schultz Engelhard, Berlin Schoneberg, franked with a 5 pfennig German stamp and cancelled Dresden Altstadt on 1.1.1926 with a postal slogan, addressed to Leipzig. Lot details exactly as photographed.
