MIKI MAOZ, issue No. 2, the Hanukkah issue. A Hebrew children's comic magazine based on Walt Disney characters, Palestine (E.I.), British Mandate period. The cover carries the title Miki Maoz beside the figure of Mickey Mouse and a Hanukkah lamp, with the inscriptions stating that it appears once a fortnight and that the price is 50 mils Palestine, together with the Hanukkah mottoes a great miracle happened here and a great miracle happened there. The foot of the issue is printed with the address of the publisher and editorial office, 31 Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv, and the name of the printing house P. Beidt and Son, Tel Aviv. The magazine contains comic strips and illustrated features, among them Miki Maoz and the Twins, Pinocchio, The Coral Island and The Statue. Toned and brittle paper, tears and wear at the margins and spine. Fair condition, exactly as photographed.
