The lot comprises: two Manchukuo postal cards, 4 fen denomination, with an additional adhesive stamp and special commemorative cancellations in two colours; two Japanese occupation postal cards, 4 sen denomination, inscribed in Malay - NAMA DAN ALAMAT SIPENGIRIM (name and address of sender) - stationery issued for the occupied territories of South-East Asia during the Second World War; a Japanese postal card, 2+3 sen, with an engraving of Mount Fuji; a Republic of China postal card with a row of commemorative cancellations from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, among them INTERNATIONAL LETTER WRITING WEEK, Oct 8-12, 1957; a Chinese/Taiwanese pictorial card with overprinted stamps and purple commemorative cancellations; a Chinese maximum card with bamboo stamps, postmarked 1993; a French Indochina (INDO-CHINE) postal card, 10 centimes, Groupe type; and a French letter-card (CARTE-LETTRE), 10 centimes, Mouchon type, with perforated margins.
