Bill of exchange, Lettre de Change, drawn at Cairo on 16 March 1936 and payable on 22 May 1936 to the order of Franz Stroeher AG for the sum of 965 reichsmark. Signed by hand and struck with commercial handstamps. The reverse carries endorsements to the Bank der Tempelgesellschaft, the Bank of the Temple Society, in Berlin and to the Reichsbank, two PALESTINE revenue stamps and the handstamp of the bank's Jaffa branch. Folds, tears and staining. Fair condition.
