Photographic memorial card from the period after the liberation, with three photographs: a memorial monument over the mass grave, the open pit in which the remains of the murdered were found, and the exhumation (Oysgrabung) in November 1944. Handwritten Yiddish captions beneath the photographs record some 8,000 victims murdered in 1941 by the Hitler-bandes. Size 11.5 cm. Tears, creases and edge damage. Exactly as photographed.
