1920s - WWII US Navy Pearl Harbor Hero Diaries & Paper Veteran Archive
WWII Era Named Group to Francis Eugene (F. E.) Fiske. Fiske entered the Navy in 1911. He was cited for his bravery during the attack on Pearl Harbor during WWII. You will receive the following items: Diary Books of who was aboard many ships from the WWI -WWII era. Included in these books are ports traveled. One diary mentions air raids, capturing Japs, gun fire and fighting. These diaries are in fair condition, but still readable, 1937 Navy YMCA Map of Shanghai (tear along the crease), an interesting memo that Fiske can wear civilian shoes due to foot problem, unidentified stamp, SUPSHIP Supervisor of Shipbuilding Identification badge, Manual For Lifeboatmen and Able Seamen, news clippings, plus other paper.
