CIRCA 1940 - AN 18 K GOLD BROOCH SIGNED  BY KUTCHINSKY - WITH 2 DIAMONDS 0.40 CT EACH - VS-H - 21 GRAMS - 5.5X4 CM

Since the 1890s, Kutchinsky has produced superlative jewellery, with their most famous pieces occurring from the 1930s right up until the present day. Known as "the David Webb of London", the firm famously supplied jewellery to King Ludwig of Bavaria. Their whimsical animal designs have become a byword for the Kutchinsky style, beginning in the late 1940s as a deliberately ostentatious celebration of the end of wartime restrictions - though, now, Kutchinsky jewellery comes in a variety of designs and styles suitable for many different tastes and preferences. Kutchinsky jewellery includes brooches, bangles, earrings, and rings in a variety of shapes - round, marquise, and baguette - and are often scattered with gems or corals. The ornate but approachable design of Kutchinsky jewellery makes it a perfect fit for a wide variety of upscale occasions, and different pieces are suitable either as accents to a variety of outfits or else as focal points around which to construct classy, effortless looks.
