A Rare Russian, Hardstone Agate, Gold , Jade and Ruby eyed Bear. Hardstone carving of a seated bear with paw raised, the bear is carved from agate and the teeth and tongue are from white jade and rhodochrosite. Where the eyes are Rubies.
DATE: c. 20th century
NOTES: The bear has a catoon style about the depiction and as such is less realistic than earlier carvings by the famous houses of Russia and Europe in the 19th century. However it is still a great piece non-the-less.

Height 12 cm;

CONDITION: It's is good condition - no visible damage.
