ישראל 1948 , מלחמת העצמאות , שתי מעטפות שנשלחו במרץ ובאפריל 1948 מחיפה לכפר ויתקין למחנה הנוער העובד ( נוער הפלמ”ח) בדואר מוניות ( אגד חבילות ) , הדרך בין חיפה לכפר ויתקין בתקופה הזו היתה סגורה רוב הזמן עקב פרעות והתקפות של ערבים על הדרך . מצורפים גם שני מכתבים במעטפות , בשניהם יש אזכור על המתקפות ועל הבעיה בשליחת הדואר. פריט מעניין מהתקופה Israel 1948, War of Independence, two envelopes sent in March and April 1948 from Haifa to Kfar Vitkin Youth Camp (Palmach Youth) by taxi mail (Egged Packages), the road between Haifa and Kfar Vitkin during this period was closed most of the time due to riots and attacks by Arabs on the road.
