An official art album of The Tretyakov State Gallery, published in 1939 by Iskusstvo (Moscow–Leningrad). The album features high-quality color reproductions of masterpieces from the Russian national collection, created by leading figures of Russian painting from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Artists represented include Rokotov, Levitsky, Borovikovsky, Kiprensky, Tropinin, Bryullov, Ivanov, Repin, Shishkin, Levitan, Surikov, Vrubel, Serov, and others. The album is accompanied by structured lists of the works and distinctive Soviet-era typography characteristic of the pre–World War II period.
